Capricorn Blenders is a leading Indian Made Liquor (IML) manufacturing unit located in the Medchal Industrial Estate, Hyderabad, Telangana.

Established in 1993 and commencing operations in 1997 under the leadership of Mr. Manoj Rupani & family, the company has grown into a key player in the liquor manufacturing industry.

"In 2013, Capricorn Blenders was acquired by the current management, led by Mr. Nishanth Reddy, who, along with a team of seasoned professionals, has been driving the company towards excellence."

The Visionaries Behind The Blend

Nishanth Reddy B

Managing Director

Nishanth Reddy comes from a family that has been in the alcohol industry for over 40 years. He draws from their rich experience in his day-to-day functioning and he quickly turned around Rhizome into one of the leading alcohol companies in the Telangana State.

He was instrumental in bringing in a highly professional and experienced team to take the company to new heights.

He previously worked for Franklin Templeton Investments (US) and holds a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Sailesh Reddy N

Director

Sailesh Reddy is a seasoned professional with over 24 years of experience in the liquor industry, bringing extensive knowledge in manufacturing, operations, and business development.

As a Director at Capricorn Blenders, he plays a crucial role in steering the company’s growth, ensuring excellence in production, and fostering strategic partnerships.

Before joining, he held key positions in Paramount Distilleries (Hyderabad) and Balaji Distilleries (Chennai), contributing significantly to their distillation, blending, and regulatory success.

Suresh Reddy B

Chairman

Suresh Reddy started in the alcohol industry in 1971 by assisting his father in setting up B. Pattabhirama Reddy & Co, marketing Mohan Meakin products across 9 districts in Tamil Nadu.

In 1980, he started Vijaya Durga Wines before joining the prestigious Balaji Group to head sales in 6 districts in Andhra Pradesh.

He also served as Chairman of the Nellore District Milk Producers Cooperative Union. In 2013, he was instrumental in initiating the acquisition process of Rhizome Distilleries.
